Steve Cohen has been like a gift from the universe to New York Mets fans. However, his wife, Alex Cohen is making a significant impact with her work.

Since Cohen acquired the team, he has always been at the side of his wife, who has been a Mets fan since she was little, a passion transmitted by her father, the well-known Mets Grandpa. Since then, Alex has been doing an amazing job through the Cohen's foundation but also with the fans that are not covered by the media or as appreciated as they should be.

Alex Cohen has been up close and personal with Mets fans

Alex Cohen has been creating events that allow fans a better experience on and off the field. Through her foundation, she is offering support to people in need through her programs to support the community, youth, education, health and wellness, and baseball, softball, and other activities for the youth or disabled people.

Alex Cohen has overcome a lot. She was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2009, a disease that through treatment she no longer suffers from. Through this experience and her Latino roots, she has been more aware of her desire to give.

"Tia Alex" as she calls herself has not only been limited to the organizational aspect. From her Instagram account, she has dedicated herself to following Mets fans, which has caused an impact on the social network.

This action reveals the difference between the Cohens and other owners within professional baseball. Mrs. Cohen offers a side of human warmth and closeness that is felt by the fans.

Regarding the latter, browsing through her Instagram, we found an incredible action showing what Alex Cohen has been doing inside Citi Field. A shared story on the named social network, shows Tia Alex visiting the fans in the less visible areas of the stadium to offer them tickets as gifts. This happened a couple of days ago when a family of four was in the Upper Deck Section and Alex Cohen approached them to offer front-row tickets as close as behind the plate.

Cohen has been carrying out this action for more than 20 years. In an interview with Deesha Thosar, Alex Cohen told her about this: "It's just who I am and I couldn't change it if I tried."

An Amazing action in an Amazing team. This can only be done by a person with the human qualities of Alex Cohen. Fans should feel very grateful, the Cohens have impacted all areas of the game to offer the Mets the best experience, and to feel part of this new culture of these new Mets.
