How to watch Mets games on TV in 2024 with & without cable: Full Streaming Guide
The first week of spring training is over, and apart from a loss to the Cardinals in their first Grapefruit League game, the Mets are rolling along. They're winning games, Pete Alonso hit his first spring home run on Wednesday, and all's right in the world.
But the progression of spring games really just means that Opening Day is inching closer. With 162 games ahead and a myriad of ways to watch them, here's a guide on how to catch as many as you possibly can.
How to watch the Mets on cable in 2024
If you have cable, SportsNet New York (SNY) will be your one-stop shop for all things Mets. The ever-faithful three man broadcast team comprised of Gary Cohen, Keith Hernandez, and Ron Darling will be covering the vast majority of Mets games with SNY coverage extending throughout New York, most of Connecticut, north and central Jersey, northeastern Pennsylvania, and is available nationwide via satellite. PIX11 also broadcasts some games with the SNY crew, but going straight to SNY will be your best bet.
A few games will also be broadcast nationwide on other channels. FOX and FS1 will featuring six Mets games, including the first of two games in the London Series against the Phillies. ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball will also feature a matchup against the Braves in May. TBS released the first half of their baseball broadcast schedule; they'll air the first game in the Subway Series hosted at Citi Field in June.
How to watch the Mets without cable in 2024
If you don't have a cable package, you can sign up for DirecTV Stream, FuboTV, or Hulu + Live TV for access to SNY. ESPN, FOX, and FS1 are all also available on all three and Youtube TV and Sling TV. TBS is available on all services apart from FuboTV.
