Harrison Bader has personally destroyed the Mets since getting traded
After his stint with the Mets last year, outfielder Harrison Bader was putting up solid numbers at the dish with the Minnesota Twins before the trade deadline. In 307 plate appearances, the former Met was slashing .258/.339/.439 with a .340 wOBA, and 117 wRC+. He was hitting for a good amount of pop, with a dozen homers and an .181 isolated slugging percentage. While his 26.4% strikeout rate wasn't good, his 8.8% walk rate was solid. With the Mets needing help in center field, there was rumors they were looking into a reunion with Bader.
Since the Phillies have acquired Bader, he has gone on to hit .339/.403/.536 over 129 plate appearances. Bader has added four more home runs to his season total, which ties him for a career-high mark, and gives him a .200 ISO. The only real downside is that he has a 27.3% strikeout percentage and 7% walk rate. But it also helps that Bader has continued to be an overall great defensive outfielder. He already has +14 defensive runs saved and +9 outs above average, despite having less than 1000 innings played.
Bader has 16 hits in just games against the Mets since getting traded to the Phillies. Meanwhile, Cedric Mullins, whom the Mets ended up acquiring from the Baltimore Orioles to help out their center field woes, has 17 total hits since he was sent to the Mets. Bader has been an absolute thorn in the Mets' side since the deal, and has only further helped the Phillies put distance between them and the Mets in the standings.
