2) Jacob Reimer

Jacob Reimer is putting together a breakout season at Single-A Brooklyn. With a .333 batting average and an impressive 1.066 OPS in 120 at-bats, he’s showing off both power and consistency. His six home runs and 28 RBIs are solid numbers, but it’s his 22 extra-base hits that stand out, demonstrating his ability to drive the ball.

Reimer also has a sharp eye at the plate. He’s walking 12% of the time and keeping his strikeouts to 23%, a strong ratio that speaks to his discipline and contact skills. After an injury-shortened 2024 campaign that saw him put up a .218 average and struggle with health, Reimer is back at full strength in 2025, making the pitchers look like they brought a knife to a gunfight. Last year, he even managed to walk more than he struck out, 15 walks to 14 strikeouts in 95 plate appearances, showing he can adjust despite limited playing time.

Reimer’s recent surge only adds to his untouchable status. With his blend of power and patience at the plate, he’s exactly the kind of player a team wants to build around. In a system with plenty of promising talent, Reimer’s performance ensures the Mets shouldn’t be looking to part ways with him anytime soon.
