3) David Robertson - RP
Robertson is a guy who has been in the league more than most, debuting in 2008 as a member of the New York Yankees. After his 2016 season with the White Sox, the righty reliever began to bounce around a lot, going back to the Yankees, then to the Phillies, then the Rays, then the Cubs, so on and so forth until he found himself on a brief stint with the Mets in 2023. The 38-year-old was solid in Queens, posting a 2.05 ERA in 40 appearances until the Mets traded him at the deadline to the Marlins for a pair of minor league players.
In 2024 with the Rangers, Robertson made 68 appearances where he put up a 3.00 ERA, making a pair of saves in his tenure. Now, on the cusp of 40, Robertson remains on the free agent market where a team needing bullpen help can sign him. Other than that rough 2023 second-half stint with the Marlins in which his ERA with the team was 5.06 in 22 games, Robertson has been fairly reliable even late in his career, no matter how many Mets fans try to convince you he sucked with the team (he didn't). Teams in need of bullpen help midseason can definitely give Robertson a look, but approaching the age of 40, it's a question of whether or not he has it in him to continue.
