So far, the New York Mets' 2026 season is off to a decent start. They entered a matchup against the Cardinals on Wednesday with a 3-2 record while showing bright spots on both sides of the ball. It is taking some getting used to when it comes to watching this new-look Mets roster, but the results have made that a bit easier. So, getting this game in today may be problematic. The chance of rain is pretty significant into the afternoon, although it is in the 70% range over the next few hours. If the teams see a window when they can get at least most of a game in, they are going to try as rescheduling can cause big headaches later in the season depending on when a make-up game can be slotted in.
