Wilmer Flores is also feeling better. After having to go to the hospital with an infection in his knee, Flores has been released, and is now in Port St. Lucie ready to get back into action.

There’s no word on when or how Flores got this annoying infection, but the fact that the team had to be without his bat for the last few days has also been pretty telling.

The Mets placed Wilmer Flores on the new 10-day disabled list a few days back, so it’s possible he’ll be back wearing blue and orange soon.

The Mets have not released a new update regarding Lucas Duda’s hyperextended elbow, but it’s logical that his injury may require more rest than Wilmer’s would any way.
