Mets manager Terry Collins spoke to the media on Wednesday before the game against the Atlanta Braves about some of the latest injuries the team has suffered.

Injuries have plagued the Mets early in the year, but it’s looking like they’re getting better little by little. The team gave updates on two pitchers, Seth Lugo and Steven Matz, and infielder Wilmer Flores.

It should also be noted that as far as their everyday lineup goes, it’s a huge boost that both Yoenis Cespedes and Travis d’Arnaud are starting Wednesday night’s game. Both of these guys missed the entire series with the Washington Nationals and the offense suffered in their absence.

As far as the more concerning injuries, Collins gave us some encouraging news.
