Mets’ ace Noah Syndergaard talks about his dislike for mascots, pitching to Bartolo, and more

We also got to ask Noah about one of Rising Apple’s favorite new anti-heroes, Bartolo Colon.
Odds are, at some point this season, Colon will step up to the plate against Syndergaard, and he knows it’s going to be a good time.
"“I think it’ll be fun. it’s gonna be hard not to just smile when he steps in the box because I like my chances against him hitting.”"
Well, since Bartolo isn’t going to be a challenge, who is the toughest hitter to get out for Syndergaard?
"“Freeman,” Syndergaard said without skipping a beat. “He’s just a tremendous player. He’s a tough out, has a great approach, doesn’t chase a whole lot of pitches. He can leave the ballpark whenever he wants.”"
Also, before we move on to more, let’s not forget that Syndergaard has already stated he wants to pitch more like Colon this season. And how not happy he was when the Braves already started trolling the Mets in the offseason about having Colon.
