Number 3: Yoenis Cespedes walks it off against the Marlins on August 29th.

Going into game 131 of the season, the Mets were just 66-64, and were trying to keep their momentum going as they had won six of eight.

They were tied with the Marlins at 1-1 in the bottom of the tenth, when with two outs, Yoenis Cespedes stepped up.

The Mets were trying to stay alive in the Wild Card chase, and needed their best hitter to rise to the occasion. He did, and he kept the team on a roll; they would win eight of their next ten and vault right into the thick of the wildcard race. This home run was a classic “no doubter”.
