Mets: Brandon Nimmo hits first major league homer; Mets fans fall in love

Brandon Nimmo hit his first major league home run in Friday night’s game against the Cubs.
He was all smiles. I don’t even think the kid stopped smiling the rest of the game, rain delay included. Nimmo hit a bomb landing in the bullpen against Jason Hammel. What made it even better? Seeing him come out for his curtain call, where he smiled even larger (who knew that was possible?) and fist pumped. But that wasn’t it. What was even better than that is that Nimmo then proceeded to make an awesome diving catch to end the 5th inning.
