Rising Apple Report, Ep. 111 – Trade Deadline: 3 Days Left for Another Mets Move

We had a record-breaking show last night, receiving 65 callers of all different ages, who all wanted to talk for hours about the Mets. We had to cut it off at a couple and 19 minutes, but man, was the podcast a sound to behold.

Along with Mike Lecolant and myself, Jaron, a 13-year-old kid from Los Angeles who runs the @NYM_News account on Instagram, with over 11,500 followers, called into the show and brought his audible muscle with him, with lots and lots of youthful phone calls giving their take on all things Mets. We had Kenneth from Virginia, a long-time listener and long-time Mets fan, call in a give his takes on the Mets win, the Mets moves, and everything comin’ up Metsies. We spun the caller roulette, we gave our takes on the ’11 season and players to wear number 11, it was one of the best podcasts we’ve ever had. And gotta give credit to Jaron. Kid really knows his Mets.
