Carlos Gomez, CF, Milwaukee Brewers:

Gomez is close to a perfect fit for the Mets, who have been using Kirk Nieuwenhuis and a weakened Juan Lagares in center field.

Gomez, 30, is under contract through 2016 and is a plus player on both sides of the ball, so it would likely take a significant haul to acquire him.

If the Mets are able to nab Gomez, they can put him in center field, shut Lagares down for the season, and keep Michael Conforto in left field.
