The Rising Apple Report has returned for episode 107! I will host tonight, while senior staff writer Mike Lecolant joins me to rant and rave about the current mess that is the Mets! Joining the crew as well will be Metstradamus himself, John Coppinger.

Before we do rant, however, we received some unfortunate news today. On the heels of the passing of former owner Nelson Doubleday, we learn of the passing of former Met Darryl Hamilton. We’ll reminisce on the ball player, and discuss some of our favorite moments.

The nightmare that is the Mets on the road potentially reached it’s bottom this past weekend with a 5 game losing streak after two impressive wins against Toronto at home….though we know how well the Mets are at scraping the bottom. They have one of the best records at home, and one of the worst on the road. We’ll speculate why this is, after years of the complete opposite.

And it’s time to talk about the Mets fan’s favorite year…OUR year-2007!

And of course, the Mets to wear the number 7 in team history.

So, join us at 9pm ET for the latest edition of the Rising Apple Report!
