Thursday, June 18

Bartolo Colon (9-4, 4.41 ERA) vs. R.A. Dickey (2-6, 5.29 ERA)

While Bartolo Colon hasn’t been as good as he was in April and early May, he seems to be finding a plateau of consistency once again. Since May 25, Colon has gone at least six innings and has allowed three runs or less in each of those starts.

His nine wins lead the Mets and will look to notch his 26th straight decision on Thursday. Former Met Jose Reyes is a career .667 hitter in seven plate appearances against Colon, so be sure to keep an eye out for those at-bats.

The former National League Cy Young, R.A. Dickey hasn’t been able to replicate his success in the American League. Dickey has been somewhat better as of late, but still holds a 2-6 record with a 5.29 ERA as he starts his 14th game of the season.

This will be the first time Dickey has faced the Mets since he’s been with the Blue Jays.
