Saturday, June 13

Jacob deGrom (7-4, 2.42 ERA) vs. Shelby Miller (5-2, 1.84 ERA)

The Mets’ current MVP, Jacob deGrom, will take to the mound on Saturday and will look to pick up a win against the division rivals. deGrom has yet to face the Braves, but in his career deGrom is 2-1 with a 2.00 ERA, striking out 29 batters in only 18 innings of work.

In his last outing, deGrom went seven innings, allowing two earned runs off five hits and struck out ten Diamondbacks.

For the Braves, they’ll have Shelby Miller take to the mound, making this matchup a perfect pitcher’s duel. Miller was one out away from a no-hitter against the Marlins on May 17 and showed no ill-effect from allowing two hits. He’s been the Braves best pitcher all season, sporting a 5-2 record with a 1.84 ERA.
