Matt Harvey (6-3, 3.05 ERA) vs. Tim Hudson (3-5, 4.41 ERA)

When Matt Harvey is mad, you’ll know. Coming off two subpar starts, Harvey went into Chase Field as a man on a mission and it showed. He mustered his first win in over a month, with an impressive seven innings of work, striking out nine batters and walking only one.

Harvey will look to win his first game in his career against the Giants and will need to tame Buster Posey, a batter that has owned him in his career. Posey is a lifetime 4-for-5 against Harvey, which includes one home run and two RBIs.

The 17-year veteran, Tim Hudson will look to improve his 2015 numbers against a team he’s very familiar with. This will be the 33rd time Hudson has faced the Mets and holds a 17-10 record with a 3.52 ERA against them. This season, he’s been a bit inconsistent with his stuff and has allowed three or more earned runs in seven of 11 starts.

Keep an eye out for Lucas Duda, a career 12-for-30 against Hudson.
