Noah Syndergaard (1-2, 3.63 ERA) vs. Sean O’Sullivan (1-3, 3.54 ERA)

Although Thor pitched well in Pittsburgh, going six innings, striking out five and not walking any, the Mets offense wasn’t able to muster anything against Gerrit Cole. He’ll look to continue his improved control as he faces off against the Phillies on Wednesday.

Sean O’Sullivan pitched well in his loss against the Washington Nationals on Friday, allowing only two runs in six innings of work. He’s faced the Mets once in his career, but as a reliever, going two scoreless innings.
