The Mets said earlier this week that Bobby Parnell would be moving his rehab from High-A St. Lucie to Triple-A Las Vegas, but that might not be happening just yet.
Sandy Alderson said on Friday that Parnell will make one more appearance for St. Lucie before the team decides whether or not to bump him to Las Vegas.
Parnell has struggled to regain his velocity, with his fastball sitting between 90 and 92 MPH during most of his rehab outings. In his outing before last, Parnell dialed it up to 95 MPH a few times, but his velocity still sagged most of the time.
