Here are injury updates on three Mets…
David Wright (hamstring, back)
Wright, who has been out since suffering a right hamstring strain on April 14, may resume baseball activity on Monday, Sandy Alderson said prior to Friday’s game.
The team said last weekend that Wright – who has been dealing with lower-back discomfort recently – would resume baseball activity this past Monday. Instead, Wright received treatment on the back and did exercises.
Before Wright had the back issue pop up, he was ready to enter rehab games. So, it’s fair to imagine that once Wright actually gets back on the field, he’ll again be close to entering rehab games.
