In 41 plate appearances in 11 games since being called up to replace the injured Travis d’Arnaud, Plawecki is hitting .250/.268/.400 with one home run and six RBI.
While the Mets recently called up catcher Johnny Monell to serve as a lefty bat on the bench, Plawecki should still get the majority of the starts behind the plate until d’Arnaud returns – likely two weeks from now at the earliest.
