Granderson got off the schneid

Curtis Granderson entered Tuesday night’s game with zero RBI and exited it with four RBI.

For Granderson, it was a matter of some of his line drives finally finding grass while some of his less solidly struck balls did the same.

While he was reaching base at a very good clip coming into Tuesday’s game, Granderson’s BABIP was impossibly low. After the game, his BABIP still sat at just .237, meaning he’s almost certainly due for another bump.

With David Wright not due to return for at least another eight days, it will be even more important for Granderson to continue to step things up offensively.
