Blevins continued his tremendous start to 2015
Lefty reliever Jerry Blevins pitched a scoreless inning on Friday, keeping his perfect 2015 mark in tact.
In 4.1 innings spanning six appearances, Blevins has yet to allow a hit or a walk.

The acquisition of Blevins and his tremendous start to the season has been huge for the Mets’ bullpen, especially with fellow lefty Alex Torres struggling and Sean Gilmartin still getting acclimated to relieving.
However, Blevins is the true established LOOGY out of the bunch, making him the most important lefty in the pen – a role he has taken and run with.
