The Cubs and Padres will play each other in the Wild Card game, with Joe Maddon leading the Cubs to victory. The Nationals will win the National League East and defeat the Cubs in the NLDS. Meanwhile, the Dodgers will defeat the Cardinals in the NLDS. The Nationals will then defeat the Dodgers and become National League Champions.

The Orioles will defeat the Blue Jays in the Wild Card game. The Orioles will then defeat the Angels in the ALDS, while the Red Sox defeat the White Sox. The Orioles will beat the Red Sox in the ALCS, before the Nationals ultimately defeat the Orioles in a Beltway Series.

Nationals over Dodgers
