Mets lefty relief options aside from Edgin are underwhelming

Dario Alvarez is the least discussed lefty in camp, and part of the reason why is the fact that he hasn’t had much experience above A-ball.
Alvarez, 26, had a cup of coffee with the Mets in 2014, but there’s really not much data to go by.
Perhaps he’ll open eyes in camp, but if Edgin is hurt, the even money is on the Mets going with Gilmartin, Rice, or both.
