It’s Super Bowl Sunday, the national holiday that isn’t yet recognized as one officially. It’s time to eat wings, nachos, potato skins, or whatever else may work for your party. It’s also time to bid adieu to football season, and begin the (very short) countdown to pitchers and catchers.

Here at Rising Apple, we pride ourselves on diversity of sports knowledge. To that end, a few of the writers have opined on the big game, and here’s what we have to say”

Andrew Battifarano:

I think this is going to be a close one, and I’ve been debating this for a while, but I think I’m going 20-17 Patriots.

Cassandra Negley:

Seahawks. The legion of Boom should be able to quiet Brady, Gronk and the crew while the Seattle offense continues ts success from the last two minutes of the NFC Championship game.

Mike Lecolant:

Mikes likes the Patriots today, and provides this link if you’d like to read more at his personal blog.

Sam Maxwell:

I like the Seahawks, for one because I’m a Jets fan. The Patriots keep trying to get away with stuff, and should not be rewarded for it.

Rich Sparago:

I like the Patriots today. I think they are more balanced on both sides of the ball, and Brady is simply better than Wilson. I’ll Patriots 27, Seahawks 14.

Enjoy the game everybody, and be sure to keep visiting Rising Apple as the baseball season gets closer. We’re 18 days away from pitchers and catchers!
