Rising Apple Report, Ep. 92: Three weeks till Pitchers and Catchers

Let the countdown begin.
Pitchers and catchers report to camp on February 19th. The first workout is slated for the 21st, position players are due in camp by the 24th, and the first full squad workout is scheduled for February 26th.
The 2015 Grapefruit League season begins on March 4th.
Until then, it’s time to heave another log into the old Hot Stove.
I’ll be hosting tonight’s 92nd episode of the Rising Apple Report, and joining me from the staff will be the Converted Mets Fan, Sam Maxwell.
Our guests will include Stephen Keane from KranepoolSociety.com, and John Pielli host of the Passed Ball Show at JohnPielli.com.
Sandy Alderson still has work to do. That will kick off this evening’s discussion.
If his mind is truly focused on contending in 2015, he’d still be trying to resolve an unsatisfactory situation at shortstop, pursuing another established left-hander for the bullpen, and avoiding a logjam in the starting rotation.
We’ll also discuss the appearance of six Mets on Keith Law’s top 100 prospects list, and the interview that took place between Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports and Commissioner Robert Manfred regarding the Wilpons financial condition.
Episode #92- The Rising Apple Report: 21 Days Till Pitchers and Catchers
