By Michael Lecolant

Opening Day is less than two weeks away. In episode 64 of the Rising Apple report, we’ll tackle all the outstanding issues the Mets still face, and need addressing. We will also discuss the new curious development involving Matt Harvey, and the Mets media policy.

A few of the items on tap: The first base situation is no further along, but rumors have resurfaced that Sandy Alderson has renewed efforts to trade Ike Davis. Jon Niese gave us quite a scare, and I’m not so sure he’s entirely healthy despite his MRI indicating otherwise. Oh yeah, I, Michael Lecolant, will be hosting tonight’s episode. So, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on that.

Joining me tonight from once again will be Gary Mack.  We’ll tackle those issues and many more.  Unfortunately, a few of my fellow writers here at Rising Apple need a little luck, and a lot more flexibility in their schedules this evening in order to call the show.  But what about you?  Call in at 646-929-0337 and join us.  The show starts at 6:30pm sharp.
