With Sam Maxwell hosting, and myself and Rich Sparago back in action, we spent a half hour discussing everything pertinent that was going in with the Mets.
On this week’s episode, we forgot about what might have happened wins and losses wise at the end of last week and the weekend, ’cause none of that matters now. We discussed the fact that Matt Harvey is done for the year and analyzed the trade that sent Marlon Byrd and Jon Buck to the Pirates.
We also went over Jonathon Niese‘s tremendous performance on Tuesday that delivered a much-needed emotional boost. In addition, Tom Smith of Rum Bunter joined us to talk about the Byrd and the Buck and the prospect(s) they sent in return. During the show, news broke that Vic Black was the PTBNL, and Tom was none too pleased with that news.
