The pitchers duel between Jerry Koosman and Juan Marichal didn’t disappoint.  Both Koosman and Marichal went the full 10 innings, as the Mets blanked the Giants 1-0 to up their record t0 58-68.

With Kossman and Marichal putting up zeroes, the game went into the 10th inning scoreless.  In the top half of the frame, Koosman walked around a leadoff walk while keeping the Giants off the board.

In the bottom of the inning, Ken Boswell led off with a single before being bunted over to second base by Willie Mays.  With 1 out and Boswell on second base, Felix Millan singled to left field to drive in Boswell with the winning run.
