Rising Apple Report, Ep. 25 – A Winning Formula?

The Rising Apple Report is back for its 25th episode! I will host, with Danny Abriano and Dan Haefeli joining me to talk all the latest happenings surrounding the New York Mets.
Zack Wheeler had a rough go at it his 2nd time around last night. Though he didn’t get crushed, he wasn’t consistent and it led to a so-so outing before the White Sox walked off. We’ll talk about the loss and what Zack needs to do to hone his skills at the Major League level.
Though they’ve been walked-off on 3 times since their own against the Cubs, the Mets have been playing a winning formula of baseball lately, much in part to new Met and New Brunswick, NJ, native Eric Young, Jr., who had a monster of a first week after debuting last Wednesday. We’ll discuss whether the timing is right for both the Mets and EYJr. and what it means for other players on the roster as we head towards the midpoint of the season.
Last night, Rafael Montero got knocked around in AAA Vegas. We’ll discuss the start, as well as the potential for either he or AA pitcher Noah Syndergaard to be included in a trade for an impact outfield bat come July.
So, join us at 6:30PM EST for the latest edition of the Rising Apple Report!
