Rising Apple Report, Ep. 21 – Weekend Recap & White Sox Preview w/ James from Southside Showdown

The Rising Apple Report is back after a brief hiatus! On board for the 21st episode is Sam Maxwell. I’ll be joining him to catch up on all the Metsian happenings since we were last on the air.

Speaking of which, we last came to you just before the disastrous first two games of the Marlins series, with two emotional come-from-behind victories following before Jon Niese‘s rocky outing on Sunday. We’ll break down the goods and the bads of the last week of Mets baseball.
As the White Sox come to National League New York for the first time in the Metsian Era with our old friend Robin Ventura to boot, James from Southside Showdown debriefs us on his 2013 Chigaco White Sox.
And last but not least, we’ll discuss some minor league action, including Zack Wheeler‘s last two solid starts and the debate over when he should be promoted.
So, tune in at 6:30 PM for the best Mets talk on the internet airwaves!
