R.A. Dickey (4-7, 3.77 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, 2.15 K/BB): Dickey was about as good as anyone during the month of June. The Dickster posted a 2.57 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and 2.60 K/BB. Opposing hitters also just owned a .224/.283/.358 line against him. Dickey remains the Mets last life line in avoiding a sweep. (Career vs. Yankees: .257/.324/.436 line with a 2.39 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, 2.57 K/BB)

Freddy Garcia (7-6, 3.28 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 2.07 K/BB): Similar to Bartolo Colon, the Yankees scored big-time by signing Freddy Garcia. Garcia, who pitched just 286 innings from 2007 to 2010, has bounced back and become a reliable source for the Yanks. It would be surprising for Garcia to maintain his 3.28 ERA/1.30 WHIP given his 2.07 K/BB, but hey, he’s made it this far. (Career vs. Mets: .241/.294/.430 line with a 2.61 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, 3.00 K/BB)
