Mike Pelfrey (3-4, 5.56 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, 1.61 K/BB): Pelfrey has settled down, in general, from his horrid start (7.39 ERA, 1.96 WHIP, 1.23 K/BB, .341/.410/.528 line against in March/April), but he is still giving up a ton of hits (10.6 Hits/9) and more balls are also leaving the park (1.3 HR/9). In addition, his HR/FB rate has become a real danger zone. While his HR/FB in 2010 was just 5.7%, Big Pelf has seen that spike to a whopping 10.5%. Let’s try to keep those balls in the park, Mike. (Career vs. Brewers: .268/.346/.352 line with a 3.15 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, 1.22 K/BB)

Randy Wolf (4-4, 3.69 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 2.17 K/BB): Wolf started 2011 off with a bang. The 34 year-old pitcher posted a 2.39 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 3.30 K/BB in March/April, but has just offered a 5.18 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, and 1.35 K/BB since. His season stats are essentially on-par with his career stats, so there shouldn’t be too much cause for concern. (Career vs. Mets: .242/.312/.368 line with a 3.27 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 2.21 K/BB)
