Chris Capuano (3-5, 4.94 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, 2.94 K/BB): Capuano pitched a brilliant game against the Phillies last week, holding the Mets arch-rivals to just four hits and one earned-run. Overall in May, Cappy has posted a 3.99 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 2.80 K/BB, however, hitters have owned a .257/.323/.442 line against him during that period. If Capuano can limit the extra-base hits, he could be in-store for a very fine June. (Career vs. Pirates: .309/.376/.542 line with a 6.46 ERA, 1.65 WHIP, 2.15 K/BB)

Kevin Correia (7-4, 3.44 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 2.00 K/BB): Most people poo-pooed the Pirates acquisition of Correia during the off-season, since his resurgence in 2009 was mostly due to the spacious Petco Park. Despite the doubters, Correia has been turning some heads in Pittsburgh. Aside from his league-leading seven wins, the righty has also posted a magical 3.44 ERA and 1.18 WHIP. In addition, his .252/.290/.387 line against suggests his ERA/WHIP could be for real. (Career vs. Mets: .258/.312/.398 line with a 2.94 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, 3.00 K/BB)
