Chris Capuano caught a bad case of gopheritis at Yankees stadium tonight. The lefty surrendered four home-runs to Russell Martin, Mark Teixeira, Curtis Granderson, and Alex Rodriguez. In total, Cappy pitched 5.1 innings, giving-up six hits, six earned-runs, zero walks, while striking-out five batters. The Mets offense couldn’t reciprocate, only scoring three runs off Burnett. The New York Mets are now 22-23.
