Chris Young (1-0. 2.65 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 1.88 K/BB): Young looked shaky in his first start back from the disabled list, pitching 4.6 innings, giving up four hits, three earned-runs, two walks, and striking out three batters. The oft-injured pitcher has always endured stamina issues, and his recent DL-status doesn’t help matters. Regardless, the righty did pitch well against the Phillies earlier in the season (5.3 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 4 BB, 7 K’s), so hopefully he can duplicate (Career vs. Phillies: .246/.329/.389 line with a 4.05 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, 1.88 K/BB)

Cliff Lee (2-2, 4.18 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 9.75 K/BB): Even when Cliff Lee doesn’t pitch well (four earned-runs in his last outing), he still pitches well (also twelve strikeouts). Halladay then Lee is easily the best 1-2 punch in baseball, so expect the Mets to get TKO’d. (Career vs. Mets: .240/.231/.400 line with a 0.00 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, 5 K/0 BB)

Phillies: TBD…
