R.A. Dickey (1-3, 4.10 ERA, 1.59 WHIP, 1.36 K/BB): Aside from his first start, Dickey hasn’t quite looked like the revelation from 2010. The knuckleballer has had trouble with control (4.8 BB/9), and has also been pretty hittable too (9.6 H/9). Once he curbs those issues–especially the control–Dickey should bounce back to his 2010 levels. (Career vs. Nationals: .273/.367/.327 line with a 4.40 ERA, 1.57 WHIP, 0.93 K/BB)

Tom Gorzelanny (0-2, 4.96 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, 1.88 K/BB): Gorzelanny is one of those pitchers who dominated in the minors, and only shows flashes of brilliance in the majors. For instance, despite surrendering five earned-runs against the Mets in his 2011 debut, the left-hander only gave-up four earned-run in his past two outings combined. Gorzelanny’s first half (3.16 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, 2.11 K/BB) and second half (5.20 ERA, 1.60 WHIP, 1.34 K/BB) splits from 2010 too confirm his “Jekyll and Hyde” status. (Career vs. Mets: .220/.344/.385 line with a 5.70 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, 1.21 K/BB)
