Lucas Duda in the hospital due to stomach bug

Lucas Duda was out of the starting lineup Friday night due to the fact that he’s in the hospital suffering from a stomach bug.

Mets manager Terry Collins spoke about Duda’s illness before the game, noting that he was currently receiving IV fluids.

Josh Satin is starting in place of Duda at first base.

Thoughts:

Hopefully this is a one-day thing for Duda, both for his sake and that of the team.
