Well, the first series of the season is in the rearview mirror, and it was a dud.
Though it may seem like that new era of Mets baseball we have craved isn’t exactly here yet, it certainly is for the Rising Apple Report! Last night was our first extended episode, something you all should get used to from here on out.
I joined host Mike Lecolant, and we were both joined later in the episode by Mets fan Sharon Chapman. Whether it was 1st base, the bullpen, shortstop, the young down-on-the-farm starters, the Vintage Baseball games Mr. Lecolant will be watching in Long Island this weekend, Brooklyn, or where the 1999 and 2000 teams rank all-time in Mets history, we covered a lot in the 90 minutes we spent on-air.
So, enjoy the latest edition of the Rising Apple Report, and with the weekend upon us, enjoy more Mets baseball, whether it be from the comfort of your living room, or out at Citi Field like me for the first time this year.
