Rising Apple Report, Ep. 40 - YOUR 2013 New York Mets!

On Wednesday evening, Rich Sparago, Dan Haefeli and I got together audibly to officially wrap up the 2013 season, reminiscing on our favorite moments (and a bit of the bad ones) from the past season.

Favorites of course included Matt Harvey outdueling Steven Strasburg in April, and the “Super-Tuesday” in June when both Harvey and Zack Wheeler, making his debut, got W’s against the Braves during a day-night doubleheader in Atlanta.

There’ll be plenty of time to discuss the offseason and 2014, so as the weekend draws near and there’s Metsless playoff baseball galore, reminisce one more time on the 2013 New York Mets. Though they once again lost 88 games, there is always a silver lining.

Except in 2009.

That just sucked.

Anyway, enjoy the best half-hour of Mets talk on the internet airwaves!
