Ep. 36 - What the FAN? Sept 11th, Hot Stove Talk & 2014; Tonight at 6:30PM ET

The Rising Apple Report returns, with myself hosting and Rich Sparago joining for the best half-hour of Mets talk on the internet airwaves!

That tragic day is getting farther and farther away, yet the memories and emotions are still as fresh as ever. It is painful to discuss, but on this the 12th anniversary, the day is also very much an example of human strength, perseverence and character. We’ll discuss September 11th, and of course, the triumph of baseball in those days and weeks following.

All of a sudden, the Mets and WFAN, a staple for years in the ears of the Orange and Blue baseball fan, have parted ways. We will discuss what this means for the future of Mets radio and for the future of the New York City sports radio scene.

With the Mets slumping in the W category, most of the talk falls into the hot stove category, and a bit already into 2014 baseball, with the preliminary schedule having just been released. We will continue to converse regarding the future of the New York Mets.

So, join us at 6:30PM ET for the latest edition of the Rising Apple Report!
