It was a blast hosting the latest edition of the Rising Apple Report, though it unfortunately proceeded a series loss to the Phillies in Phillie. Danny Abriano, Rich Sparago and myself broke down the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly before the Mets attempt to play baseball in a Snow Tundra that is currently Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Speaking of which, Ben Noble of Fansided’s Puckett’s Pond stopped by to give us the lay of the Land of 1,000 Lakes, both baseball-related and weather-wise. It was awesome to have Ben on to give us his Twins perspective and we cannot thank him enough. (Oh, and Ben: THIS is what I think of the rest of America, so I look forward to not just “Flying Over” Minneapolis and St. Paul one day, but grabbing a beer or two with you at a ball game as well, and probably documenting the experience like this, but with video too.)
Anyway, enough digital paper chit-chat regarding words spoken in the podcast. Enjoy Episode 17 of the Rising Apple Report, and tune back in on Monday for Episode 18 when we wrap up the Twins series and preview the next Cold Weather Series with the Rockies.
