Rising Apple Report, Ep. 17 - Tonight at 6:30PM EST

The Rising Apple Report is back for its 17th episode of the year.  Sam Maxwell will host, and both myself and Rich Sparago will join him for the best half-hour of Mets talk on the internet airwaves!

On this episode, we will discuss the good, the bad and the ugly of the Mets’ series loss to Philadelphia.

With this being the first year of full season interleague play, Minneapolis sportswriter Ben Noble (@TheBenNoble), whose contributions include his writing for Fansided’s Puckett’s Pond will join in to give us an overall look at the Twins roster, his sleeper pick for someone the Mets and their fans should look out for over the weekend, and whether or not he thinks the Twins regret not putting a dome on Target Field, with the cold and snowy weather the organization will have to deal with as the Mets come into town.  In addition, we’ll discuss the likely career ending injury to Johan Santana (who was of course acquired from Minnesota in 2008).

And we’ll ask him about some pitcher named Mike Pelfrey…

So, join us at 6:30PM EST for the latest edition of the Rising Apple Report!!!
