Rising Apple Report, Ep. 16 - Phillies Series Preview and Swinging '73's Matt Silverman

With the baseball season just getting into the swing of things, The Rising Apple Report changes with the tides, altering its schedule for

the remainder of the next six months. Tonight, Sam Maxwell with Kevin Baez bring you the 16th episode of the year, a pregame of sorts before the Mets and Matt Harvey take on the Phillies and Roy Halladay.

We will also check back in after the series this Thursday.
On today’s episode, Sam and Kevin will break down keys for the Mets in the upcoming Phillies series.
In our continuing look at 1973 40 years later, Matt Silverman (also known as Met Silverman), author of the new book Swinging ’73, will join us to discuss not only plenty of Mets, 1973 and otherwise, but the 1973 baseball season as a whole. And yes, that includes the institution of the designated hitter in that year and how it changed the game.
So, join us tonight at 6:30PM EST for the latest edition of The Rising Apple Report!
