- Adam Rubin reported that although Matt Harvey is following Jonathon Niese in the spring training starting rotation, that won’t be the case when the regular season starts. Rubin noted that Harvey will likely slot in behind Niese and Shaun Marcum, but ahead of Dillon Gee and Jeremy Hefner.
- John Buck has flu-like symptoms. He’s been given the day off and was told by Terry Collins to stay out of the clubhouse.
- Despite not guaranteeing it to reporters, David Wright has told manager Terry Collins that he’ll be ready for Opening Day.
- The Mets travel to Jupiter to take on the Cardinals today at 1:05 PM. Here’s the Mets’ lineup:
