The Rising Apple Report comes back for it’s seventh episode of the year, as we’re pleased to have a special guest joining us on the show tonight. I will be making my return to the hosting chair this week, as I’m joined by two of our awesome writers, Rich Sparago and Sam Maxwell.
The wait is finally over, as pitchers and catchers officially reported to Port St. Lucie on Monday, and it’s given us plenty to talk about. However, we won’t be seeing Michael Bourn arriving to camp to don the Orange and Blue, as he decided to take his talents to Cleveland to man center field for the Indians to the tune of four years and $48 million. You know we’ll all have to put our two cents in about that topic.
We’re also excited to welcome Greg Prince as a guest onto the show. Greg will chat about Faith and Fear in Flushing, which proclaims itself to be a blog for Mets fans that like to read. We’ll also learn more about the two books Prince has authored, the first titled “Faith and Fear in Flushing” and his most recent publication, “The Happiest Recap.”
With the first week of Spring Training in full swing (no pun intended), Rich, Sam, and myself will also chat about the biggest storylines coming out of PSL so far. From Johan Santana‘s desire to pitch in the World Baseball Classic to Frank Francisco already being shut down, join us in the conversation that is a half hour of Mets talk on The Rising Apple Report!
