Game 155 Recap: Cards Roll Past Mets, 6-5

In a game where the Cardinals defense made two key errors, leading to only one earned-run, the Mets were still unable to fully capitalize.

Mets starter Chris Schwinden pitched solid in his second career outing, letting-up six hits, three earned-runs, two walks, and five strikeouts in six innings. Schwinden wasn’t the problem however. The Mets bullpen–led by Miguel Batista, Danny Herrera, and Pedro Beato–surrendered another three earned-runs in just one innings of work.

Despite the seven hits and five runs, the Mets offense overall look stagnant. Willie Harris led the charge, going 3-4 with a solo shot. Josh Satin also chipped-in some offense, collecting a two-RBI double.

The Mets dropped down to 73-82.
