Yahoo Sports Refuses To Come To Terms With Bobby Parnell’s Existence

In an interesting development, the Yahoo Sports website refused to acknowledge Mets relief pitcher Bobby Parnell’s participation in Wednesday evening’s game vs. the San Diego Padres.

“Well, it’s just an incredibly helpless feeling,” Parnell told a reporter while tearfully packing his belongings to leave the ballpark. “I mean, I’ve worked so hard to make it to the Major Leagues, and I’m still anonymous to the readers of Yahoo Sports. How is it that Luke Gregerson gets a mention yet I don’t? I don’t think Luke Gregerson’s family knows who Luke Gregerson is.”*

* This quote may or may not have been materialized…in all likelihood it was.
